The challenge
A consulting firm booked every session over email and took payment by invoice afterwards. Double bookings were common and chasing payment was a weekly job.
What we did
- Built availability rules per consultant, including buffers, timezones and blackout dates.
- Added card payment and deposits at the point of booking through Stripe.
- Automated confirmations, reminders and reschedule links over email and SMS.
- Gave admins a back office for overrides, refunds and reporting.
The outcome
- Manual booking administration reduced by roughly 70%.
- Deposits collected up front removed most late payment chasing.
- No double bookings since launch.
