The challenge
Machine, quality and ERP data lived in silos. Plant managers waited a day for figures that were already stale when they arrived.
What we did
- Built ingestion pipelines from machine controllers, ERP and QA systems.
- Modelled a governed warehouse layer with tested, documented metrics.
- Delivered self-serve dashboards for OEE, scrap and throughput.
- Added anomaly alerts on scrap rate and downtime.
The outcome
- Reporting lag reduced from 24 hours to about 90 seconds.
- One agreed definition per metric across three plants.
- Scrap reduced after anomaly alerting went live.
